Our Literacy Program, founded in 2012, is grant and community funded. Participants enroll voluntarily. We offer a variety of classes ranging from basic letter/sound recognition to advanced comprehension. In addition, we offer Partners in Reading Program, which involves higher functioning readers sharing books with lower functioning, or nonreaders on a weekly basis. Classes are open to community members as well as The Arc participants. Field trips are taken each quarter and we enroll in The Lebanon Public Library’s Summer Reading Program every year.
