Program Overview

We offer structure and support in our community and facility-based environment through our specialized program formats. These programs are primarily funded by the:

  • Family Supports Waiver (FS Waiver)
  • Community Integration and Habilitation Waiver (CIH Waiver)

Our Services Include

Community Access (Day Services)

Taking learning beyond the classroom. We focus on personal care, social navigation, skill building, and active community exploration.

Life Skills Program

Building confidence through routine. We provide a safe environment to develop communication, advocacy, and daily living skills.

Friendship & Belonging

Creating meaningful connections. Participants build lasting friendships with peers and engage with local partners in the wider Boone County community.


Skill Building & Micro-Businesses

  • Arc Artisans: Our entrepreneurial studio where artists earn money creating pottery and paintings.
  • Sodalicious: A retail training environment teaching inventory and sales skills.
  • Aktion Club: Leadership and service opportunities.

This program is funded primarily by the Medicaid waiver (Family Services and Community Integration and Habilitation Waivers).

A trusted individual can bring you each day, or you can contact the Boone Area Transition System for help with regular transportation services.

What are the hours of operation?

The Day Services program runs from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day, with some activities available outside of regular programming hours.
