Step Right Up… If You Dare: Join Us for Murder at the Midway
The lights are twinkling. The Ferris wheel is turning. There’s popcorn in the air and a crowd on the midway. It’s the perfect night at the fair — until it isn’t.
On Friday, October 9, The Arc of Greater Boone County and ILADD, Inc. are teaming up for Murder at the Midway: A Night of Mystery, Mayhem & Midway Madness. It’s a murder mystery dinner with a carnival twist, and you’re invited to help crack the case.
What’s the night all about?
Here’s the setup: what starts as a festive evening at the fair quickly turns sinister when a crime rocks the midway. Clues will be hiding in plain sight. Suspects will be… suspicious. And it’s up to you and your table to figure out whodunit before the night is over.
Expect suspense, plenty of laughs, and great food. You don’t need to be a detective to join in. Just bring your curiosity (and maybe a good poker face).

- When: Friday, October 9, 6:00–9:00 p.m.
- Where: Boone County Fairgrounds, BCA Hall
- Tickets: $100 per person (the “Alibi Ticket”), which includes dinner and an evening of mystery

We’re thrilled to share this night with ILADD, Inc. ILADD stands for Independent Living for Adults with Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities, and it’s a Zionsville-based nonprofit founded in October 2019. Their goal is simple and big: helping adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities live in their own homes and enjoy full, meaningful lives in their communities.
