The Arc of Greater Boone County offers this year-round help for families with children up to age 18, as well as families with young adults up to age 24 with a disability.
Whether you’re looking for resources, working toward a better job, building financial stability, navigating a challenge, or simply trying to figure out what comes next, you don’t have to do it alone. Every family has their own goals, strengths, challenges, and vision for what success looks like. The Family Opportunity Program is here to walk alongside you as you work toward what matters most to your family.

Job hunting is easier with a second set of eyes. We’ll help you polish a resume, practice for interviews, and work through our Work Ready Curriculum — all paced to what you’re actually trying to do next.
Finances
Money stuff is easier to manage with a plan. Our coaching and workshops walk through budgeting and everyday money decisions, one step at a time.
