Every holiday season, The Arc of Greater Boone County opens its doors for Winter Wonders: a free afternoon of handmade gifts, appetizers and sparkling cider, and a silent auction. Arc Artisans and local small business owners fill the room with work you won’t find anywhere else.

What to Expect
- Handmade gifts. Shop one-of-a-kind pieces from Arc Artisans and local small business owners. Most pieces are one of a kind, so early shoppers get first pick.
- A silent auction. Bid on special pieces and donated items throughout the afternoon. Items are already listed on the auction site!
- Enjoy light snacks and punch: Grab a plate, raise a glass, and meet the makers.
Plan Your Visit
- Admission: Free, and everyone is welcome.
- Payment: Cash and card are both accepted.
- Parking: Park in our lot or on the street. Accessible parking is available.
Where Your Purchase Goes
Sales are split between the Arc and the artisans themselves. When you buy a gift at Winter Wonders, most of every dollar goes straight to the person who made it.
About Arc Artisans
Arc Artisans is the Arc’s group art program. Artists work side by side on pottery, jewelry, textiles, and other crafts, and sell their finished pieces under the Arc Artisans name. Winter Wonders is their biggest showcase of the year.
Get Involved
We’re still looking for silent auction donations. To find out more, contact Ben Nellis, Development Director, at Bnellis@thearcgbc.org.
